Chainsaw Safety Training
Chainsaw Safety training workshops are offered regularly to promote safe and effective woods work for landowners. logger and natural resource professionals. This four level series is taught by certified SAWW (Safety and Woods Worker) instructors and can be taken in in sequence over time to allow for skill development. Landowner Woods Walks:
One of the most acclaimed benefits of KWC membership is the “Woods walk”. Take a stroll with one of our professional foresters to gain insight on your woods, ask questions, and reflect on your management goals. **This service is also available for a fee for non-members. Contact us for current rates and availability.
Forest Products and Maintenance Workshops.
Workshops and seminars cover a variety of topics related to the enjoyment and utilization of your forests. Topics such as shiitake mushrooms cultivation, maple syrup production, forest health, and forest taxes are just a few of the programs offered.
